Fact Sheet: Solar Investment Tax Credit Ramp Down

The federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for residential solar systems will be ramping down. Effective January 1, 2020, the tax credit for qualifying residential solar systems will drop from 30% to 26%. If you are considering residential solar, act now to qualify for the higher tax credit.
