Peter Sterling

Executive Director

Prior to being named REV’s Executive Director in 2021, Peter (he/him) served for four years as the Chief of Staff to Senate President Pro Tem Tim Ashe. From 2006 through 2016 Peter led several efforts to expand access to public health care programs and was one of the leading voices in Vermont for a publicly funded, universal health care system. Peter was the Campaign Manager for Congressman Bernie Sanders in 2002 and did graduate studies in forestry and forest policy at UVM’s School Of Natural Resources. He has served on the board of directors of the Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club, Vermont Conservation Voters, and currently serves on the board and as the Finance Chair for the Vermont Natural Resources Council. Jonathan Dowds

Deputy Director

Jonathan (he/him) brings a strong background in research, EVs, and team building from his time in the non-profit sector and for the last ten years as a research assistant at UVM’s Transportation Policy Center. Jonathan’s primary responsibilities at REV are member communications & services, PUC-related issues, issue research, and public engagement. You can reach Jonathan at jonathan@revermont.org.

Kit Price

Operations Manager

At REV, Kit (she/her) manages the day-to-day operations and organizes the annual REV conference. With her dual master’s degrees in Sustainability and Business Management from the University of Michigan as well as an undergraduate degree in Geology, she brings a solid background in operations and logistics as well as a passion for sustainability and the environment. Prior to joining REV in 2021, Kit served as a Project Manager for an Environmental Justice professor at the University of Michigan as well as a Logistics Consultant at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C.
