Internship begin on a rolling basis starting on January 1st and continue for a minimum of 3 months. Intern will work in Montpelier for at least 16 hours a week. Occasional remote work is also possible. Candidates must possess strong communication, writing, and research skills; an ability to take initiative, work independently, and thrive in a fast paced environment; and a passion for achieving Vermont’s sustainable, clean energy future. Current undergraduate, graduate, and law students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Internship offers excellent professional experience, networking opportunities, and specific projects to develop work portfolios. Academic credit available pursuant to school requirements.

– Laborers – no experience necessary
– Solar Array Installers (The IBEW Union position is Construction Wiremen or “CW”) – previous solar or construction experience preferred
– Apprentice Electricians – must be able to prove recorded apprenticeship hours
– Solar O&M Technicians – Previous solar experience required. Licensed Journeyman electricians and knowledge of control systems preferred.
– Journeyman Electricians – Must have or be able to obtain a valid VT Journeyman’s License.
– Master Electricians – Must have or be able to obtain a valid VT Master’s License.
– Foremen – Must have previous experience running large projects.
Must be able to work outside in all condition. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must have your own transportation and a valid driver’s license (vehicles provided for some positions from Solar O&M Technicians to Foremen). Must have steel-toe safety shoes.
