Renewable Energy Vermont
The Communications and Marketing Intern will help maintain REV’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, assist in publishing newsletters, creating marketing materials and helping to update the website. Approximately 16 hours per week. Duties will include: Creating marketing materials as needed; Updating the website to reflect the most recent news and to update member profiles; Updating REV’s social media platforms; Monitoring comments on articles that are posted on Facebook and Twitter, commenting when necessary with fact-based responses (as directed by Executive Director); Compiling a weekly list of renewable energy and energy-efficiency related articles to be sent out to REV Members; Attending conferences and staffing the REV booth at events. Requirements: Excellent writing and editing skills; Experience with digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WordPress; Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects; Ability to think critically and creatively; Flexibility and a sense of humor. Home base location will depend on successful candidate. This position is primarily responsible for serving the needs of Green Mountain Power customers with a variety of meter services including monitoring and reporting meter conditions. Will be trained to install, remove and exchange self contained meters and metering equipment in the field. Must be able to test and repair self contained and transformer rated meters and equipment in the shop. Responsible for testing and repairing recording devices used for power quality monitoring. Work is varied in nature and will require travel outside of the assigned “home” base district to assist in other districts. Must follow Company safety standards and practices and be compliant in the proper use of personal protective equipment required to perform work. Incumbent applies working knowledge of basic electricity principles and technologies to work performed. Works under limited supervision and in compliance with established policies, procedures and regulations.

technologies. In this position, you will manage and provide technical expertise to NEEP’s regional
projects to accelerate the market adoption of clean heating and cooling technologies, in particular,
advanced heat pumps. This may include analyzing technical material or topics, developing tools such as
heat pump installer best practice guides, developing resources such as technical specifications, and
managing projects including field-based research that delves deeply into technical issues. The Technical

The Wind Project Optimization Manager is a senior level position responsible for sales and business development for one of our flagship product lines, known as the Bat Deterrent System (BDS). The VGS Safety & Compliance team is expanding and we are in search of a Training and Compliance Specialist. This position plays a key role in all aspects of compliance at VGS. The Energy Efficiency Manager is constantly searching for innovation, working to streamline processes, and building teams to promote efficiency and sustainability efforts.
Leads the design and implementation of dynamic commercial efficiency programs. This role performs engineering and economic analyses on commercial, industrial, and some multi-family residential buildings to identify energy efficiencies and cost savings using natural gas and natural gas equipment for current and potential customers.
Carries out energy audits and field evaluations of residential energy efficiency and building performance projects. Produces customer and/or internal reports regarding results of analysis of this field data.
The primary responsibility of the Locator is to work independently to safely complete locate requests for Vermont Gas underground facilities. Additional responsibilities include updating GIS, as-built maps and collecting information on missing, lost, or unrecorded facilities.
Responsible for installations, adjustments and repairs, and responding to complaints on an emergent basis. The service technician sets, removes seals and unseals simple gas meters, regulators, purges lines, checks meter indexes and gas outlets. Expected to perform regular inspection checks of all gas devices.
