Renewable Energy Vermont | Energy Policy Internship

The energy policy intern works directly with REV’s Executive Director and Legislative & Policy Committee to advance renewable energy and climate policy during the 2019 legislative session before the Vermont General Assembly, Public Service Board, and State Agencies.  Duties include: tracking legislation, developing factsheets, attending hearings, issue research, assisting in coalition meetings, helping organize lobby days, developing bill summaries, drafting comments and action alerts.  Candidates with legal background will assist with regulatory filings and proceedings.  Issues include: low-income access, tax incentives, wind sound, regional and town plans, net metering, modern wood heating, transmission, renewable energy siting, environmental permitting, and more.

Aegis Renewable Energy | Renewable Energy CAD Designer – Technical Analyst

Aegis Renewable Energy a Waitsfield, VT-based Renewable Energy EPC contractor specializing in the design, procurement, construction and service of commercial-scale solar and wind projects is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Renewable Energy CAD Designer – Technical Analyst.

This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer. The successful candidate will assume a major collaborative role in renewable energy system design (civil and electrical) and will have daily involvement from early conceptual design to commissioning and closeout.  Experience in design and/or fast-paced construction operations environments is highly desirable. The successful candidate will also assist with technical support, service department daily system monitoring, preparing and filing service records, and service related customer support.
