Energy Literacy Course | June 5, 12, 19, 26 | 6-8 pm | Peace & Justice Center Burlington, VT
This community-targeted course offers participants an opportunity to learn about and discuss prominent energy sector issues like energy resource depletion, renewable energy technologies, and ways to reduce the personal impact of rising energy prices. While challenging subjects will certainly come up, the course will maintain an optimistic view of the future and will focus on offering thoughtful opportunities to develop energy resilience at the community and state level.

Building for Social Responsibility Solar Hot Water Workshops | June 27-28 Burlington| December 27-28 Montpelier
This two-day workshop trains building professionals in the art of solar hot water design and installation. Day 1 introduces domestic solar hot water systems, component details, design considerations, and installation. Day 2 focuses on solar space heating potential, advanced system components, software applications for the trade, economic paybacks and incentives. This course is designed for builders, plumbers, architects, and engineers interested in broadening their services to clients by offering solar hot water services.
